In plain language
Operating a vehicle when your driving privilege has been temporarily or permanently revoked by the licensing authority.
Legal definition
Driving a vehicle during a period when the driving license has been officially removed, suspended, or nullified.
From the law
Those who are driving the vehicles without the driving licenses or in the time their driving licenses are removed, suspended, or nullified, shall be jailed from six days to one month and fined from Riel 25,000 to Riel 200,000.
Student tip
If your license is suspended or nullified, you are legally not allowed to drive. Doing so will result in severe penalties.
Common confusion: Some drivers might think a suspended license is just a temporary inconvenience and still drive, which is a serious legal violation.
